General Terms and Conditions
The on-site contact named in your job confirmation must be on site/on call at the time of the job booking.
Any power, water, gas or other lines must be shut off and disconnected to any materials we are removing, prior to job start.
If use of an elevator is required, it must be readily available or booked for our use.
Materials are to be fully ready for loading, unless otherwise stated. Pallets must be wrapped, loose items in bins or bound together, etc. If you are unsure of preparation, please inquire.
Unless specifically arranged otherwise, materials must be fully prepared and ready for loading, in or adjacent to, the loading area.
If required for loading, your forklift or, pallet jack and dock height loading bay, must be available at the time of booking.
We will not be able to start or complete work if any hazards or unsafe working conditions are on site. Site safety is your responsibility.
For any items potentially containing PCBs (e.g. Transformers or ballasts): certification of PCB free status must be provided prior to confirmed booking or we may need to delay until it is received. Transporting PCB-containing materials is prohibited and they must be removed if present.
If power tools are required, please note that the process may be noisy and create a metallic burning smell.
We require parking or loading area for our truck. If a loading bay or space in the loading area is supplied by you, please ensure that the area is booked and approved for our use.
We primarily work in demolition type areas. Large debris should be cleared by our crew, but small debris may remain. If this is an issue, please notify us in advance.
Avoid charges and maximize your value: ensure your materials are removed from packaging, and non-metal materials are clear from your load. It is ideal that your metals can be sorted - if you are not sure how to sort, please ask ahead of time! In some instances, we may need to make deductions for sorting or waste materials.
Up to the full quoted amount may be payable if the job is incomplete due to job conditions not fulfilled, and/or additional charges may apply if preparation is not completed prior to job start.
If no "scrap credit" was stated on your estimate, that means you will not get money back. Please clarify any concerns with our office directly at 604.253.8481.
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours to cancel or change this booking, or charges may apply. If you need to cancel with shorter notice, please call and discuss this with the office at 604-253-8481.
